August Peach Black Tea - WS
August Peach Black Tea - WS
Peaches are from a deciduous tree that is native to China. Cultivation spread throughout the world and today major supplies of peaches come from America, China, Italy and Greece. Peaches and peach trees have long histories of symbolism in Asia; in China, peaches are considered a symbol of long life, in Korea they are considered symbols for happiness, wealth and longevity and in Vietnam peaches herald Spring and symbolize peace and happiness.
Peaches have a delicate, intoxicating aroma and a heavenly taste. The peaches grown later in the season, in August and September, have a sweeter more delicate peach taste. This bright amber cup has a sweet, almost creamy, peach taste and is sweeter in taste than our regular peach flavored tea.
Ingredients: Black teas, marigold petals and august peach flavoring.
This tea pairs well with fish dishes, chicken, salads, goat cheese, tomatoes, and cheesecake.
Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.

I love this tea! It is a great wake-up tea for mornings. A really successful blend of peach and black tea, with neither overpowering the other.
A NICE TEA WITH A LIGHT (BUT SUBSTANTIAL) PEACH FLAVOR! GREAT FOR AN AFTERNOON BREAK---I ADD A LITTLE SWEETENER AND ALSO VANILLA COFFEE CREAMER. TASTES JUST LIKE PEACHES AND CREAM. TRY IT!
This tea had a slightly artificial aroma, although it was less pronounced when brewed. As a hot tea the peach flavor was quite subtle, it was definitely more pronounced when served cold. I would recommend this as an iced tea for summertime!
A delicious blend with just the right amount of peach to add a subtle sweetness. Not overpowering. One of my favorites!
I sampled this tea and was pleasantly surprised by the subtle, but distinct peach flavour against a mild black tea. As with other SV flavoured teas, the added aroma is not overwhelming which sets it apart from tea bag teas where the chemical flavour hits you like a rock. The black tea base is decent, too, which made it a well-rounded experience.
