China Mountain Green OP - From the Guizhou district in China, at an altitude of 1400-1900 feet, comes this steamed green tea. Picked between May and June, the forest-green leaves brew to a delicate green cup with a fresh vegetal aroma, and a light citral taste.
Colombian Selva Curly Organic - This organic Selva Curly green tea is crafted from a carefully hand-plucked selection to ensure quality and uniformity. It then undergoes a subtle withering, which enhances its aromatic complexity before reaching its most distinctive characteristic: a double fixation process. This tea brews to a pale yellow color with the aroma of roasted nuts, cooked vegetables, toast, and a subtle touch of tropical fruits like lulo, granadilla, and passion fruit. The taste is brisk and mellow, with a balance of umami, sweetness, and mild astringency.
Darjeeling Ambootia Estate, Organic - The Ambootia Estate, established in 1861, currently produces all of their teas using organic and bio-dynamic farming practices. Their organic green is a superlative tea with its pale hues and refreshing aroma. The smallish green leaves impart a sweet after-taste, with more body than most green teas and the wonderful flavor of a fine Darjeeling.
Japanese Genmaicha - Unlike other countries that designate their teas by regions or estates, Japanese teas are generally sold by styles. Genmaicha Green tea is a mixture of a Sencha and popped Genmai (hulled rice kernels), yielding a light brown tea with very unique taste!
Gu-Zhang-Mao Jian Organic - This exquisite tea is harvested in the Spring, before the rains, when the leaves are young and fresh. It is grown at high altitudes and in an environment where the soil conditions, temperatures, and rainfall combine to create a prized tea. Gu Zhang Mao Jian is one of the most delicate greens that we have tasted with a light, slightly sweet, fruity, rose taste.
Mao Feng Green (Criss Cross) - This Mao Feng Green is a superior tea that is grown in the Anhui province of China. Criss Cross is a term used to further distinguish this tea and refers to the shape of the leaf. The long, wiry dark green leaves produce a pale, delicate cup with a light vegetal aroma.
Shenandoah - This blend makes you feel like you're on a relaxing vacation among the thousands of green trees and flowers throughout Shenandoah Park. The lively notes of lemon are accompanied by a hint of ginger and a delicate elderberry finish. A bonus to this blend is the addition of the butterfly pea flowers to produce a unique blue/green colored cup.
Spring Blossom - This tea is made with green tea and colorful flowers with the subtle, sweet taste of passion fruit. It's beautiful to behold and absolutely lovely to drink!
Walt Whitman’s Organic Green - Our Walt Whitman tea blend is inspired by his beautiful nature imagery in Leaves of Grass, especially the poems he wrote about roots and herbs. In one of his memoirs, Whitman describes a man who "express'd a great desire for good, strong green tea." This blend is an earthier and more mature variation on Simpson & Vail's Lemon Ginger Green Tea. It combines an unobtrusive green tea base with the earthiness of ginger and eleuthero roots and the sweetness and acid bite of lemon (with lemongrass, lemon peel, and lemon flavoring).
White Monkey Organic - Long ago this tea was grown only in the Fujian province in China. Cultivated at high altitudes it was picked by monkeys, hence the name, particularly trained for this purpose. Today it is picked by humans only on a few select days per year. These dark green leaves have fuzzy white tips that brew to a light green color with a delicate floral aroma. Delight your taste buds with this excellent bodied and slightly flowery tea.

Each package makes approximately 6-8 cups and is labeled with the name of the tea and brewing information for each tea.
