The Turmeric Chai Herbal Tisane is an invigoratingly fun cup of warm spice with all that is happening within this blend. It's of a good quality, too, with the large pieces of spice that you get in this tea.
This is hands down the best tea with turmeric I've ever had. It's phenomenal and I can't stop raving about it! I made it according to the directions on the tin for the latte and it was extraordinary. It had so much flavor packed into it. I ended up using almond milk, but I think coconut would be even better! The spicy and sweet flavors from this tea latte really won me over. This will become a pantry staple in my house now.
I love chai, but I am very caffeine sensitive. I love this chai because it is flavorful but has no caffeine, and I love the turmeric flavor. I drink it to celebrate, so I find a lot of excuses (end of the week, project out of the way, today sucked and I think a chai would cheer me up...). Also, turmeric whitens your teeth, so I think the tea helps me with my teeth too.I have not tried the chai latte recipe yet, but I look forward to trying it.
Be sure to try the chai latte recipe - it is so flavorful and delicious! The chai itself can easily stand up to two brewings, so I do tend to simmer it in the water only, strain, and then mix with the almond or coconut milk, so I can set the spices aside and brew it again. I was a little astonished to find the second-brewed chai spices made an excellent addition to my coffee (this was a "mistake" that turned out to be a winner instead)! The flavor is well-balanced and very enjoyable no matter how you make it.
This is hands down the best chai I've ever had. I love the Indian Sasparillo's unique addition to this blend. Excellent herbal blend for anytime of the day!
