We are basically walking advertisement for Simpson and Vail tea at this point. We have a little repertoire of wellness teas on top of all the other teas we drink for flavor on a daily basis.
My children (6 and under) now call this tea “sniffle-snuffle” tea and beg for it at the slightest indication of a scratchy throat or stuffy nose.
With a little honey it’s the perfect cure.
My sister included this tea in a care package when I had CoVID in 2020. Its a wonderful tea with a comforting flavor. Its my favorite tea and Im thrilled Im able to order more! Also thrilled its CT made!
I'm around alot of people with colds and sniffles during the day and I have been drinking a cup of this in the evenings to prevent any colds. So far it has worked great. The blend of elderberries and peppermint, lemon and mint has a refreshing taste that is soothing and delicious without any hint of bitterness.
I haven't had the sniffles to try this tea out on, thankfully, but really enjoy the tisane just as a refreshment. It's great either hot or iced.
I drank this regularly during my last cold, and think it definitely made me more comfortable. My symptoms werent gone, but they were more bearable and didnt last too long. The taste of this tisane is pleasant and not medicinal at all. The lemon and peppermint make it a tea I can drink even when Im not sick! Also, kudos to Simpson & Vail for helping me discover that I can like rooibus, especially green rooibus. Their teas are really expanding my horizons!
