Matcha Raspberry, Organic
High quality organic matcha powder has been blended with organic cane sugar and natural raspberry flavor to create a delicious taste sensation. Available in 1 oz. or 4 oz. zip-lock bags.
The sweet and tangy flavor of raspberries combined with the smooth umami flavor of matcha gives this a refreshing taste well-suited for iced beverages or fruity lattes.
Ingredients: Organic cane sugar, organic matcha, natural raspberry flavor
Brewing: Add 1 tbsp of Raspberry Matcha to 6-8oz of water or milk and mix using a blender or shaker.
Iced Raspberry Matcha Latte (Pictured)
This refreshing and vibrant latte combines the earthy notes of matcha with the sweet and slightly tart flavor of fresh raspberries.
Yields: 1 serving Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons pureed raspberries (about 1/4 cup fresh raspberries, muddled or blended)
- 1 teaspoon S&V Raspberry Matcha powder
- 2 ounces hot water (around 175°F / 80°C)
- 6-8 ounces milk of your choice (dairy or non-dairy, such as oat, almond, or soy)
- Ice
Equipment:
- Small bowl or matcha bowl
- Matcha whisk (chasen) or small regular whisk
- Spoon
- Tall glass
Instructions:
- Prepare the Raspberry Puree: If you haven't already, puree your raspberries. You can do this by mashing them with a fork, muddling them, or quickly blending them in a small food processor until smooth.
- Layer the Puree: Spoon the pureed raspberries into the bottom of your tall glass.
- Whisk the Matcha: In a small bowl, add the S&V Raspberry Matcha powder. Pour in the hot water. Whisk vigorously with a matcha whisk (or a small regular whisk) in a "W" or "M" motion until the matcha is fully dissolved and a frothy layer forms on top.
- Add Ice: Fill your glass with ice cubes, almost to the top.
- Pour Milk: Slowly pour your milk of choice over the ice.
- Combine and Serve: Gently pour the whisked matcha over the milk and raspberry layers. Watch as the beautiful layers form! Stir gently with a spoon or straw to combine the flavors before enjoying.
