I really like this coffee. The appearance of the beans and the brew is different from other medium roasts. I think it is almost like a light roast coffee. And the taste is unique too; mellow and nutty. Very satisfying!
I didn't exactly know what to expect with this coffee since it's main selling point was 'carbon neutral,' but in the end that is why I bought it. I thought it would be nice to support a coffee that supports sustainability. When it arrived the first thing I noticed was it didn't exactly smell great, and my expectations took a nose dive. Figuring I had nothing to lose I immediately ground some beans to brew a cup, and I was surprised to find it tasted quite normal. So because of that emotional rollercoaster I am left with a good impression of this coffee, all the more because it is environmentally conscious!
