For those lovers of lavender, this tea provides a unique tasting experience. It's lavender all the way, from the delightful floral bouquet to the tantalizing lavender liquor. The addition of sweet, succulent apricot fruit flavoring to this blend produces a cup that is full bodied with a uniquely sweet, floral taste.
Ingredients: Black teas, natural and artificial apricot flavor, lavender, and calendula petals.
This is a great tea for those trying florals for the first time. Personally I wish the apricot and fruit were a bit more forward on the palate. However I adore lavender and this for me was a lavender forward tea that showcases the beautiful complexities of everything lavender can be. It's bold but not soapy, it's got wonderful mouthfeel and is perfect on its own. It would be great with a splash of cream or sugar, but all of the subtle notes come through alone. This is one I could drink many times a week and never tire of it.
Dare I say, the best floral I've had for all these reasons. If I want apricot tea, I'll get straight up apricot. I also wish this existed in a caffeine free blend, it would make an ideal evening cuppa.

Lovely fresh lavender on a light black base... I want more 'nectar'!
Another unique blend from S&V. This is a black tea with plenty of lavender and a hint of fruit flavor... though I'm not sure I'm noticing much fruit flavor. It's supposed to be apricot, and if I notice any it's only the hint of a flavor in the first cup. It's not surprising because there is SO MUCH fresh lavender here. So much. But it's delicious. The black tea is very light, so if I had to guess with my eyes closed I'd say I was drinking a lavender blend, with no black tea at all. The black tea is a little light for me. Of course, I might not have steeped the second cup long enough or with boiling water. I'd really love that 'nectar' to be much more noticeable. But this tea is a win for lavender anyway. Wholesale Orders:
Orders to wholesale accounts will be shipped via UPS. Freight charges will be assessed prior to shipping. Please notify us if you would like a quote prior to our shipping your order. Otherwise, all orders will have the freight charges added to their merchandise price.
Other Shipping info:
All merchandise purchased through this site is F.O.B. Brookfield, CT. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by Simpson & Vail, Inc. to a common carrier, as well as responsibility for all shipping fees.
Order Cancellations:
You may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipment and receive a full refund. Should you desire to cancel an item, which has not been received, please call at: 800-282-8327. You will be advised if your merchandise has not been shipped and may therefore still be canceled. If the merchandise has already been shipped and a cancellation is allowed, it will be your responsibility to pay the complete shipping and handling charges. Special order merchandise cannot be canceled.
