Rooibos "Tea", called the "miracle tea", is not from the Camellia Sinensis plant as are all true teas. Rooibos is processed from the leaf of the Aspalathus linearis and is cultivated on more than 600 farms in the vast Cederburg area of South Africa about two hundred miles north of Cape Town.
While the liquor looks and tastes very much like tea, this "tea" is 100% caffeine free. This beverage is deliciously refreshing with a rich amber color and a pure natural aroma. A hot, soothing cup of Rooibos is completely pure and natural, containing no additives, preservatives or colorants of any kind. It can be enjoyed hot or cold and with milk, lemon, sugar or honey.
I was looking for teas with possible health benefits and tried Rooibus. I am enjoying this tea and I find the information about the teas helpful.

Rooibos Tea- The Tea Americans are Missing Out On!
I was introduced to Rooibos at a caf when they were sold out of Assam. I've been hooked ever since. So much so that I now carry my own Rooibos loose leaf tea with me because restaurants have yet to discover Rooibos Tea! Finding Rooibos without additives can be difficult, every one feels the need to infuse Rooibos with other ingredients which is fine, but straight Rooibos is excellent and great for you. Simpson & Vail's Organic Rooibos is not over priced as it by other Sellers.I drink mine with Hawain Honey and Very Vanilla Soymilk. Delicious!If one hasn't tried Rooibos, try a sample of plain Rooibos. This is my second order -3lbs each- of Rooibos. Simpson & Vail needs to design a travel pouch to carry one's tea & tea bags ;)

I was in South Africa many years ago, and discovered Rooibos tea. When I got back home, I could not find a place to buy it. Wholesale Orders:

All merchandise purchased through this site is F.O.B. Brookfield, CT. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by Simpson & Vail, Inc. to a common carrier, as well as responsibility for all shipping fees.
Order Cancellations:
You may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipment and receive a full refund. Should you desire to cancel an item, which has not been received, please call at: 800-282-8327. You will be advised if your merchandise has not been shipped and may therefore still be canceled. If the merchandise has already been shipped and a cancellation is allowed, it will be your responsibility to pay the complete shipping and handling charges. Special order merchandise cannot be canceled.
