hi!! i’m writing this review after only having one cup of this tea. i have severe seasonal allergies that also causes my tonsils to swell. it’s rather uncomfortable. this brought the swelling down so much. i was actually shocked. amazing. incredible. 10/10
This tea tastes delicious and has a very soothing quality about it. At first I was not sure if it was placebo or really soothes the throat but after a few months of having this tea it really does soothe the throat. What I also realized is that it really compliments berry teas of all kinds. When you mix this with those teas they taste exceptional. I believe the marshmallow root is the main ingredient that makes this tea amazing. During these Covid times wearing masks and using Lysol on a daily basis, this tea has helped with that dry tingling of the throat feeling.
I was excited to see that this tisane did not have licorice root in it because I dislike the taste of licorice root. This tea definitely has a lemony taste too it, which I love. And it is also kind of spicy from the ginger and cinnamon, which I also really love! The flavors come out best unsweetened, but I also tried with honey and it was still a nice taste.
Love this tea. Was surprised upon opening the tin and not being sure what all the white fluffy stuff was. Found out it's the slippery elm which really does help with my throat issues. I'm ordering more to keep on hand - a really good, gentle and soothing tea.
Great for when you're not feeling the best. I like to add a little honey for its benefit and to sweeten this tea a bit. Breathing in the steam also seems to be helpful to me.
