"Sleigh bells ring, are you listening
In the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland…"

A wonderful blend of green rooibos with cacao and cinnamon and flavored with Bavarian chocolate, cinnamon and hazelnuts. When we sampled this in our store we heard "Best rooibos ever!", "A new favorite", "Great everyday tea". It brews to a golden cup with the delicious aroma and taste of cinnamon baked goodies (we were reminded of apple fritters). Smooth and warming, this blend has the more pronounced taste of cinnamon and hazelnuts, while the Bavarian chocolate is an underlying taste that rounds out the other flavors. Delicious in every season!

Ingredients: Organic green rooibos, organic cacao nibs, organic cinnamon, natural and artificial flavor, and cornflower petals.

This flavoring does not contain any allergens.

Brew tea at 212º - steep for 5 minutes.

Winter Wonderland Tea Latte from Down to Earth Coffeehouse, Glastonbury, CT

4 oz. Winter Wonderland Concentrate
Moulin Vanilla Syrup (to taste)
7 oz. Steamed milk

Winter Wonderland Streusel Coffeecake
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup canola oil
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp Winter Wonderland, herbal tisane

Streusel Mixture:
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbsp butter, melted
4 Tbsp flour

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8" square pan.

In a small saucepan heat the milk and the Winter Wonderland until hot (but not boiling). Cover, remove from heat and steep for 5 minutes. Strain out the herbal blend and set aside to cool.

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix the canola oil into the flour and sugar mixture until it is like cornmeal in texture.

In another bowl, combine the egg, tea infused milk and vanilla extract.

Add to the flour mixture and stir only enough to mix, do not over blend.

In a small bowl combine the streusel ingredients.

Pour 1/2 of the mixture into the baking pan and sprinkle ½ of the streusel mix over the batter. Add the remaining batter on top, and sprinkle with the other 1/2 of the streusel mix.

Bake for 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean.

Customers praised this rooibos tea as "winter comfort in a cup" with well-balanced chocolate, cinnamon, and hazelnut flavors. Most found it "flavorful and sweet" without being overwhelming, perfect hot or as a latte. Some chocolate lovers wanted more cocoa intensity. Caffeine-free and enjoyable year-round, though designed for winter.

Good for morning and mid-day

This Winter Wonderland Rooibos, with Its cocoa and cinnamon flavoring is great with a spoon of sugar. Great for morning and mid day. I am a dessert tea and chocolate lover, searching for the best chocolate tea out there. I rate them from 0 to 10. This one I rate an 8.5, a bit short on chocolate for me.

Winter Wonderland

This tea is truly a delight. It's light, sweet, delicious in every way. If you are tucking in with a good book for the afternoon and a cup of tea on a cold Winter's day, this is the go to tea for that. I love the cacao nibs flavor and it's not over powering. This blend is perfection as each flavor compliments the other so well. I love the aroma too. This tea to say the least is Winter comfort in a cup.

A wonderland of flavor

Yet another rooibos dessert tea hit from S&V! Not just for Christmas- I drink it all year round. If youre afraid of rooibos, remember this is the green variety. Im not at all fond of the red, but love the green. Its more of a mild vehicle for the other wonderful flavors in the blend. And it doesnt taste vegetal, like most regular green tea. So no spinach with your chocolate. ;->

Really nice and Christmas-sy

The Winter Wonderland Rooibos is definitely going on my Christmas/Winter favourites list. The hazelnut and chocolate flavours were very distinct without being overwhelming. There was a smoothness to it as well. Thought I do not use sweetener, I believe that the flavour would likely pop out more with a hint of sugar. Definitely drink it hot!

A lovely Winter tea

This tea is the first of the holiday teas that I tried. I was hesitant about the chocolate but the blend with the cinnamon and flavorings is absolutely perfect. The perfect drink for cold evenings or afternoon tea. Sure to bring a smile to any chocolate lover's face!

My Go-To Chocolate Tea Without Caffeine!

This tea was actually my gateway into S&V. I chanced to find it at a local store, and I'm so happy I did. The chocolate flavor is fantastic and deftly balanced with the nuts. It's not too sweet, so I can adjust how I like. It really shines as a latte, too! I've made it with unsweetened chocolate almond milk, and it was beautiful. I'd been searching for a caffeine-free or low caffeine chocolate tea, and this is it!

This Rooibos is wonderful.

I have tried several Rooibos. Caramel Walnut Shortbread was one of the best Rooibos I have enjoyed and this one is right there with it. It is so full of flavor and gives you a very soothing warmth . It is naturally sweet which tastes great on it's own but with a teaspoon of honey this tea Truly shines. You guy's made a wonderful blend with this one a definite winner in my book.

Winter Wonderland Rooibos

I've been enjoying the W.W.S. variety as an iced tea this summer. Such a happy hydrating time from the heat is has been with these flavourings reminiscent of a decadently sweet, yeasty, baked, bread treat.

A lovely late night dessert blend ANY time of year!

I'm glad the description for this tea says "delicious in every season" because I'm reviewing it in summer. Here we have a rare green rooibos base with plenty of flavors that when thrown together are delicious. Simpson and Vail says this blend has: cacao and cinnamon and flavored with Bavarian chocolate, cinnamon and hazelnuts. (There are also pretty flowers that make the blend look fantastic.) I love these late night dessert blends....even if I have them with dessert anyway. To be fair, this tea was purchased a few months ago in January, and though S&V does an amazing of keeping their teas fresh, I DID purchase this after the holidays. Of course, this tea would taste even more amazing fresh. As is, this has plenty of flavor, being a true dessert tea. With the cinnamon, it does remind me of S&V's Snickerdoodle tea which I love. I'm not tasting much chocolate, which adding cocoa shells to the blend would remedy. Maybe just hints of the other flavors. It's good to have a change with green rooibos once in a while. When I hear Winter Wonderland, for some reason I'm thinking marshmallow. It would have been fun to have marshmallows thrown into this crazy blend. Let's have ALL the flavors!Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons for a full mug// 10 minutes after boiling // 3 minute steepSteep #2 // just boiled // 3 minute steep

Year round rooibos

I know this is a "Winter Wonderland" but honestly this is great for any time of year. If you're hesitant to try Rooibos or say you don't like it, please try this blend. It's one of the most palate friendly Rooibos. S&V has some of the best Rooibos blends around. It's like drinking a coffee cake or sweet muffin! Adding a dash of cream makes this into a nice desert.

Perfect for a Cold Day

This tea is such a sweet, interesting blend of spices. I don't even need to put any honey in it. This dessert tea is really a winter treat. One of my all time favorite teas.
