Assam - Ethelwold Estate TGFOP, Organic - The Ethelwold tea estate is located along the banks of the majestic Brahmaputra River in the district of Dibrugarh, in Upper Assam.  This estate focuses on sustainability and community development.  As the story goes, the Ethelwold Estate was named after the daughter, Ethel, of the original British tea planter.  This TGFOP tea brews to a full-bodied amber cup with a creamy texture and a malty flavor with a slightly spicy aftertaste.
Ceylon Blackwood, Organic – Blackwood is a section of the Idulgashinna Organic Tea Gardens, which is the world's first organic certified garden in the world and is also Fair Trade certified. The gardens are located in the Uva region and produce their teas from July to September every year. The medium, black, twisted leaves of this organic black tea brew to a pale golden cup with a light floral, sweet taste.
China Black Gunpowder Organic – Gunpowder teas were originally rolled into pellets (resembling gunpowder) to help keep it fresh as long as possible on the long journey across the oceans. These dark rolled leaves brew to an aromatic amber cup with a slightly smoky and full-bodied taste.
China Sweet Osmanthus – Osmanthus tea is a scented tea that is processed in a similar fashion as jasmine teas.  Comprised of high-quality black tea and osmanthus flowers, this tea brews to an amber cup with a smooth, sweet taste and floral and fruity (apricot) notes.
Colombian Cacao Kisses Black Tea – This tea is a blend of Bitaco Colombian Black Tea with Cacao husk and nibs. The cacao comes from local cooperatives and small producers from the Tumaco region of Colombia, who produce a varietal of the finest and most aromatic cocoas in the world. The perfectly crafted blend creates a unique flavor experience. The tea imparts a mellow chocolate taste and aroma that pairs well with the black tea base.
Darjeeling Millikthong Estate, 2nd Flush – This FTGFOP1 second flush tea comes from the Millikthong garden located in the picturesque Mirik Valley in Darjeeling.  Millikthong, one of the largest gardens in Darjeeling, grows tea at altitudes ranging from 1,600 to 4,900 feet and enjoys premium climatic conditions for growing the finest teas. When brewed this tea yields a golden amber cup with a fresh garden aroma and a floral, slightly earthy cup with a refreshing sweetness.
Jane Austen – The delicate prose of Jane Austen's novels is evoked in this blend that combines spearmint with a gentle touch of vanilla. Lavender flowers, which look lovely in both the cup and the gardens around Jane Austen's estate, add a sweet floral taste that complements the mint and vanilla wonderfully. This blend captures the color and joy of Austen's characters while taking inspiration from the herbs and flowers she cultivated in her own garden. It brews to a refreshing cup with a cool mint flavor that's softened by the warm vanilla and the sweet lavender flowers.
Lychee Congou – A medium leafed China black tea that has been naturally scented with lychee. Lychees, introduced to the west in the late 1700's, have a taste that is sweet and slightly tart. The fruit has an intoxicating aroma and taste, which combines well with this China black tea. Lychee Congou brews to a deep copper color with a sweet, floral taste.
Nepal Green Hill Ilam Organic – High up in the Himalayas in the Ilam Valley of Nepal, grows this exquisite, certified organic black tea from the Green Hill Tea Co-op.  This SFTGFOP1 tea has brown leaves that are intermingled with green and white tips.  The tea brews to a copper-colored cup with a taste that is smooth, slightly sweet, floral, and has citrus notes.
Summertime Earl Grey - Don't let the name fool you, this tea can be enjoyed anytime of the year! The tea brews to a dark amber cup with a smooth, refreshing, light peach taste and subtle Earl Grey undertones.

Each package makes approximately 6-8 cups and is labeled with the name of the tea and brewing information for each tea.

Free ground shipping on retail orders over $50 within the continental U.S. If you are shipping to multiple addresses each order must be over $50.

We ship 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. We normally ship orders within 24 hours of receipt.

International Orders:

Orders shipped outside the US will be shipped via US Postal Mail (either Global Express, Priority Mail or First Class [packages under 4 lbs]). For orders shipping to Canada, freight charges should be calculated at the time of checkout.  For other orders shipping outside the US, additional shipping charges will apply and we will email you the freight total prior to shipping your order. Simpson & Vail, Inc. is not responsible for and can offer no specific advice on import fees, duty, Customs or taxes that you may be charged when your merchandise reaches you and urges you to consult your local government import office with any questions.

Wholesale Orders:

Orders to wholesale accounts will be shipped via UPS. Freight charges will be assessed prior to shipping. Please notify us if you would like a quote prior to our shipping your order. Otherwise, all orders will have the freight charges added to their merchandise price.

Other Shipping info:

All merchandise purchased through this site is F.O.B. Brookfield, CT. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by Simpson & Vail, Inc. to a common carrier, as well as responsibility for all shipping fees.

Order Cancellations:

You may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipment and receive a full refund. Should you desire to cancel an item, which has not been received, please call at: 800-282-8327. You will be advised if your merchandise has not been shipped and may therefore still be canceled. If the merchandise has already been shipped and a cancellation is allowed, it will be your responsibility to pay the complete shipping and handling charges. Special order merchandise cannot be canceled.
