Our much loved chai combines decaffeinated black tea with organic cinnamon pieces, organic cloves, organic cardamom seeds, organic anise seeds and natural spice flavors.
Ingredients: Decaf black teas, organic cinnamon, organic anise seeds, organic cloves, organic cardamom pods, and natural chai and cinnamon flavors with other natural flavors.
Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.
This tea is decaffeinated using the all-natural CO2 process.
Natural CO2 Decaffeination To decaffeinate tea it is necessary to find a solvent that will remove the caffeine from the leaf, while keeping as many of the healthy benefits and the taste profiles in. The best method we have found is natural CO2 decaffeination. This method consists of putting moistened tea leaves in a chamber, adding CO2 and pressurizing it. CO2, when pressurized, becomes a liquid which effectively removes caffeine from tea leaves, while just as effectively not removing many of the healthy benefits. When the liquid is poured off the leaves and the leaves are dried, the CO2 reverts back to its gas form and dissipates from the leaf. Decaffeinated teas generally still have 1-2% caffeine.
As a breastfeeding mom, I have continued to keep to decaf and for months was craving my chai tea lattes, but I couldn't find a decent decaf chai. I recently discovered the SV decaf chai blend and it is better than what I used to get caffeinated from other brands. So relaxing to drink. I was also amazed at how diverse the blend was so I was guaranteed to get a good blend in each brew.

Nice and Spicy
This is a very nice spicy tea. I did find it tasted better with a shorter steep time. It seems steeping for the time suggested made it just a slightly bit bitter-tasting. But with a touch of Stevia for sweetness, it tasted like a holiday drink!

International Orders:
Orders shipped outside the US will be shipped via US Postal Mail (either Global Express, Priority Mail or First Class [packages under 4 lbs]). Wholesale Orders:
Orders to wholesale accounts will be shipped via UPS. Freight charges will be assessed prior to shipping. Please notify us if you would like a quote prior to our shipping your order. Otherwise, all orders will have the freight charges added to their merchandise price.

All merchandise purchased through this site is F.O.B. Brookfield, CT. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by Simpson & Vail, Inc. to a common carrier, as well as responsibility for all shipping fees.
Order Cancellations:
You may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipment and receive a full refund. Should you desire to cancel an item, which has not been received, please call at: 800-282-8327. You will be advised if your merchandise has not been shipped and may therefore still be canceled. If the merchandise has already been shipped and a cancellation is allowed, it will be your responsibility to pay the complete shipping and handling charges. Special order merchandise cannot be canceled.
