Creme Brulee Black Tea - WS

There was a tea shop I visited once in Cottonwood, AZ and they had a wonderful Creme Brulee tea that was delicious. The tea shop closed and I have no idea who the wholesaler was and Ive been on the search ever since for the creme brulee tea. Ive tried many and they just arent quite right. This creme brulee, while its not the same tea, is very well done. Many of the teas I have tried had a weak tea base and the flavor was weak but the scent was strong. This tea is a great base tea and a good amount of flavor with a nice scent- not too overpowering. The other shop mixed their creme brulee with a puerh and it was so darn good, so I also tried S&Vs yunnan puerh and mixed the two and it was perfect. Very happy with this choice.

This is another super-sweet black tea that kids and adults would both enjoy. Brew it gently and that heavenly caramel smell the leaves have will convey properly to the tea, but it's quick to tilt the balance, so keep an eye on it. It's rare that I'm in a mood for such a simple and sweet flavor profile, but when I am, this blend bats it out of the park. An uncomplicated delight.

Unknown flavorings work out pretty well. Black tea is at the forefront. Overall, I like it. Rate it a 8.5 out of 10.

I have tried a number of teas from SV, and they're always hit or miss. This one is definitely a hit !!

I found this blend delightful. I even enjoy the aroma as I open the tin. It is one of my nightly go-to blends that I drink with a sweet around 8p.m.

I thought this tea would be stronger and sweeter. It has a light body---not to say it isn't good---it is---but I was expecting a more full bodied tea with more fragrance .I added my fave sweetener and/or caramel almond milk and voila! great!

It didn't taste like creme brulee. It tasted more like licorice or something and I wondered if it was even the correct tea. It wasn't good and I couldn't even finish it.

It's just another great blend by SVTea - very mild, not overpowering flavor, with smooth finish.It's simply delightful

I don't know how they did it. You know that burnt caramel sugar taste when you break through the top of Creme Brulee? That's what this tastes like.I had Dustin taste it and he said it smelled like pipe tobacco, which has a very sweet smell. Then we fought very carefully over the hot tea. So I made him a cup.I later mixed it with Sunny Afternoon and it blends perfectly. GODDAMN that's a good cup of tea. I'll be in my bunk.This tea wants you to be warm, comfortable and happy. It's a little bit of burnt and a little bit of sweet, little pain with the pleasure.

I originally bought this tea for my husband. He LOVES creme brle as a dessert; I do not. I have a huge sweet tooth, though, so I gave it a try as well. We both agree that the flavors are not terribly bold, and that it is better with a little sugar/honey and cream to truly dress it up to the expectation of it being creme brle. With the add ins, its a great cup of tea, but I personally prefer a tea that I dont need to add anything in to achieve the kind of flavor Im looking for.

I was intrigued by the name of this tea, and was not disappointed when I ordered it. It's a very rich tea, full of robust flavor. Velvety smooth, but with a nice kick.

I ordered a sample bag of this tea, with no expectations, It was so good! It really has that nice creme brulee flavor. I really love it.
