Once a taste associated primarily with the holidays (.. sugarplum fairies dancing in our heads..) plums are now enjoyed year round. Their sweet, tart taste is refreshing and delicious. This black tea blend brews to a deep amber cup with a heady aroma reminiscent of butter and marshmallows. The taste is smooth with a touch of sweetness and a creamy finish.

Ingredients: Black teas, artificial flavor, and cornflower petals. 

Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.

I love this tea best of all I’ve tried. My mother’s family are all big tea drinkers having passed this Welsh tradition down to me. I’ve enjoyed many different teas, but this is my favorite!

Artificial and no plum

I really wanted to like this tea, but it tastes artificial, and no hint of plum. Disappointing

Pretty Good; needs more plum

The tea is very good, dont get me wrong. Very similar to many of the SV flavored teas Ive tried. This plum flavor just wasnt quite strong enough for me. If I didnt know the title of the Tea, not sure I would have been able to identify the subtle flavor.

Sugar plum fairyland

I love this tea with some of the Violet Rose tea mixed in. I can drink it all day. Its pleasantly plummy without becoming wine-y, which I dont like in a tea.

Yum!! Plum!!

This tea and the violet tea were the main reasons for my original order with Simpson and Vail, and I love them both.Plum is one of my favorite fruits, and I love this tea. In addition to the plum, the tea has a vanilla/cream note as well. I highly recommend this tea!

Sugar Plum

Now this is a plum tea! The fragrance coming from the dry leaves is so delightful. It's like sugary plum candies. The resulting cup is pretty plum like to me. When brewed it ends up being a smooth cup that isn't overly sweet, but can be made so much more indulgent with a dash of cream and honey.

Perfect Plum

When I opened the bag, the fragrance that wafted out was almost like a white chocolate. The blue cornflower petals peeked brightly through the black tea leaves. The resulting brew was absolutely a straightforward and scrumptious blend of fine black tea and a succulent ripe plum. What a treat!

Free ground shipping on retail orders over $50 within the continental U.S. If you are shipping to multiple addresses each order must be over $50.

We ship 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. We normally ship orders within 24 hours of receipt.

International Orders:

Orders shipped outside the US will be shipped via US Postal Mail (either Global Express, Priority Mail or First Class [packages under 4 lbs]). For orders shipping to Canada, freight charges should be calculated at the time of checkout.  For other orders shipping outside the US, additional shipping charges will apply and we will email you the freight total prior to shipping your order. Simpson & Vail, Inc. is not responsible for and can offer no specific advice on import fees, duty, Customs or taxes that you may be charged when your merchandise reaches you and urges you to consult your local government import office with any questions.

Wholesale Orders:

Orders to wholesale accounts will be shipped via UPS. Freight charges will be assessed prior to shipping. Please notify us if you would like a quote prior to our shipping your order. Otherwise, all orders will have the freight charges added to their merchandise price.

Other Shipping info:

All merchandise purchased through this site is F.O.B. Brookfield, CT. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by Simpson & Vail, Inc. to a common carrier, as well as responsibility for all shipping fees.

Order Cancellations:

You may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipment and receive a full refund. Should you desire to cancel an item, which has not been received, please call at: 800-282-8327. You will be advised if your merchandise has not been shipped and may therefore still be canceled. If the merchandise has already been shipped and a cancellation is allowed, it will be your responsibility to pay the complete shipping and handling charges. Special order merchandise cannot be canceled.
