Peaches are from a deciduous tree that is native to China. Cultivation spread throughout the world and today major supplies of peaches come from America, China, India, Italy and Greece. Peaches and peach trees symbolize many things to the people from where they originated. In China, peaches are considered a symbol of long life, in Korea they are considered symbols for happiness, wealth and longevity and in Vietnam peaches herald Spring and symbolize peace and happiness.

Peaches have a delicate, intoxicating aroma and a heavenly taste, and this blend of black teas with peach flavor is very much the same. The deep amber cup imparts a sweet, heady aroma and taste that lingers on your taste buds, infusing your mouth with fresh, summer tastes.

Ingredients: black teas, peach flavoring, and marigold petals.

Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.

A middle ground vanilla black - not great, not bad.

I think I must have ordered this a while ago, but the flavor seems like it's holding up anyway. I'm always searching for that perfect vanilla tea. The description says the base tea is from China and Sri Lanka. To me, it tastes like Ceylon, for some reason especially on the first sips I can taste distinct notes of the black tea but then the flavoring tends to take over and hide the black tea. (Or since it's from China it might be S&V's China black I don't really like that also tastes like Ceylon to me?) I kept trying this with one teaspoon, and I didn't prefer it that way -- then I tried it with two teaspoons and that was plenty more flavor while also not being too astringent. The resteep is also fairly flavorful.I'm also not sure how this is different from S&V's "Vanilla black". What makes French vanilla different? Not sure. But I haven't tried their "Vanilla black" blend, so I can't say. This still isn't my ideal vanilla flavor (what is, at this point?) and there is no actual vanilla pieces here, but I'm glad the flavoring is lasting this long. And I can actually tell the flavor is actually aiming for vanilla with two teaspoons, when sometimes with other vanilla teas, I can't even tell. Steep #1 // 2 teaspoons for full mug // 22 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steepSteep #2 // just boiled // 3 1/2 minute steep

Delicious and fruity

Both my husband and I like this tea. I like that it is a strong black tea with a bit of fruity flavor. He loves the peach flavor, although he says he would like the peach flavor with a white tea instead of a black tea.

Delicious!

This is one of the nicer vanilla teas I've had. A lot of them have had a funky, odd flavor to them that doesn't play well with the tea base, but this is really creamy and perfect with a little bit of sugar.

A great tea for vanilla fans...

I enjoy this tea year-round, but particularly in the summer. It brews a rich cup of tea, but the vanilla is pleasing during warm weather. It will not disappoint vanilla fans.
