This slightly sweet, scrumptious blend has a lightly toasted flavor with the delicious taste of apples and cinnamon. Sipping this tea reminds me of the Sunday morning breakfast treats of my childhood. Now that I'm all grown up I could have those treats every day of the week; however, I think I'll stick to this tea blend instead. It's full of the sinful tastes of childhood but, with no calories, it suits my adult metabolism!

Ingredients: Black teas, organic cinnamon, dried apples, natural and artificial flavor, and orange blossoms.

Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.

Apple Cinnamon Tea Cookies

Apple Cinnamon Coffeecake Tea Cookies

These cookies are so scrumptious that we ate almost all of them right from the oven!

To add the superb flavor to these cookies, we infused our Apple Cinnamon Coffeecake black dessert tea in butter then strained out the leaves. The butter was left with the most heavenly taste and aroma.

Tea butter:

2 sticks (8oz) butter
8 Tbsp Apple Cinnamon Coffeecake Black tea blend

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the tea and steep on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and steep for 5 minutes. Strain the leaves from the butter using a fine strainer or cheesecloth. Some of the butter clings to the tea leaves, so always make sure to use more butter than a recipe calls for when making infused tea butters. I strained the tea butter into a measuring cup to make sure I had enough for my cookies. Once strained, cool the butter so it solidifies.

Cookies:

3/4 cup (6oz) tea butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 egg, plus 1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Apples, chopped small (choose a firm baking apple like granny smith)

Pre-heat the oven to 350 and lightly grease a cookie sheet.

In an electric mixer beat the tea butter and sugars together. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.

Stir the flour, salt and soda together. Gradually add to the sugar/butter mixture until incorporated.

Apple Cinnamon Coffeecake Tea Cookies

Fold in the apples.

Roll the dough into 1 1/4" balls (a rounded teaspoon size) and place on the greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-13 minutes until golden brown.

Cool on the sheet slightly before moving to a wire rack.

Enjoy with your favorite cup of tea!

This dessert tea delivers a balanced apple cinnamon coffeecake flavor that customers describe as "wonderful" and "delicious." Most shoppers praise the well-balanced taste and enjoy it as a relaxing treat. Some find the flavor "very strong" while others note it can be "very weak," suggesting steeping time variation. One customer was disappointed by weak flavor.

Pretty good

Very strong cake flavor, if you like that. It's tasty, but I'd like a little less of the apple and cake flavors perhaps, but it's still a good tea.

Disappointing

I was looking forward to trying this tea as I love your teas and wanted to try something new. This tea for me was very disappointing. The flavor was very weak. I really cannot taste the apple cinnamon coffeecake flavor. Wish I would have ordered a sampler size.

A Delicious Tea

The Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake Tea is one of my favorite teas. It is delicious as an afternoon tea with milk. Similar to a chai but with a softer apple cinnamon flavor.
Highly recommend this unique tea.

Apple Fritters

Out of the bag I get a strong, bitter, dark chocolate smell with maybe a little apple spice peeking through. Steeped, I do get more of a cakey vibe, maybe like an apple fritter? I’m not sure I’m getting coffee cake, exactly, but overall I like what I’m tasting. A spoon of sugar and a splash of milk and you got yourself a straight up danish. It’s good - I like it - I’ll keep drinking this one.

Less calories than coffee cake and just as good!

Very nice blend of flavors. Close your eyes and you can imagine you are eating a delicious homemade coffee cake!

Delicious

Im not a big fan of sweetly flavored teas, and I took a chance on this one but i am glad I did! It is well balanced sweetness and mild enough that I can have it for breakfast- it reminds me of apple oatmeal (which I adore)

Flavorful

I have never had an SV tea that I didnt like but this is my most favorite tea.

Personal favorite of all the SV blends

Smells like heaven, tastes just as good. Cinnamon is definitely the primary flavor note, so I wouldn't suggest doing something crazy like throwing in a cinnamon stick to steep with it; it doesn't need any help. God-tier blend mixed with a little bit of hot chocolate mix, but it shines brightest when paired with a snack containing hazelnuts. Try it, I'm serious. Get yourself some nutella or a ferrero rocher and eat it with this tea and experience nirvana up front and personal. Always keep in mind that cinnamon gets weird if you let it steep too long, though. Keep an eye on it if you don't want to risk having to dump out the whole pot.

loved this

This is a wonderful tea. This tea is perfect and when I drink it, I remember the wonderful coffee cake with walnuts I had as a child. the flavors are just right and even my husband likes it. We are going to order a third tin for us since this is so popular with us and guests that visit and will give it as gifts. Perfect for anytime of year. Love to have this while enjoying an audiobook curled up with my beautiful cat.

Exquisite apple cinnamon torture

This legit tastes like an apple pastry, maybe an apple croissant. The apple is upfront, backed by cinnamon and a "dough-y" taste. This is magical. Also, it does NOT mix well with the Bronte Sisters tea. Somehow they cancel each other out and I was very sad. This tea wants you to be warm, happy, and filled with apples.

Nice Balanced Tea

I love that this tea is balanced in its flavor. No one flavor stands out and overpowers the others. The hints of apple and cinnamon are perfect. I have been enjoying this tea each morning for a few days and each cup has been a pleasure to sip.

I don't know

The Apple Cinnamon Coffeecake, Dessert Tea wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I think I probably didn't pick up on the fact that it is a black tea, which I don't really care for. It tastes a lot like a "barely there" almond Rooibos, not very full. Maybe I'll try it cold.

Good Blend of Flavors

I tried this tea this morning with my breakfast. It is quite tasty, and I appreciate the good balance of flavors. Neither the apple nor the spice is overly dominant. I'm not usually a fan of the taste of black tea, so I'm glad that flavor is not too pronounced.

the perfect dessert - in a tea

I've had apple teas and I've had cinnamon spiced teas. Whatever S&V has done to put this tea together blows them all out of the water. It is so good - just like an coffeecake.
