Start the New Year feeling refreshed and invigorated! Skip the heavy cocktails and try our refreshing tea-based mocktails. We have some great recipes to share with you.
Sparkling Pomegranate Detox Mocktail

Makes One Mocktail 8 oz. water 1/2 tbsp Pomegranate Detox Tisane 1/2 oz. orange juice (optional) 1/2 oz. simple syrup (optional) 1 can club soda, chilled Additional orange wedges and fresh mint for garnish |
Directions: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, remove from the heat and add the tisane. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool 15-20 minutes. Add the cooled tisane along with the orange juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake well. Strain into a 12 oz. glass filled with ice. Add club soda to the top and garnish with orange wedges and fresh mint. Enjoy! |

Sparkling Red Currant Tea Mocktail

Makes Two Mocktails 6 oz water

Directions: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, remove from the heat and add the tea. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain out the tea and set aside to cool for 15-20 mins. Add the raspberries (or red currants if using) to a cocktail shaker along with the cooled tea, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Smash with a muddler until well combined. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a 12 oz. glass filled with ice and add the club soda to the top. Garnish with raspberries (or red currants) and fresh mint. |
Blueberry Limeade Mockarita

Makes One Mockarita 9 oz. water 1 1/2 tsp Blueberry Limeade Green Tea 1 oz. simple syrup 3/4 oz. lime juice 3/4 oz orange juice 12 blueberries, fresh or frozen (defrost beforehand if using frozen berries) Additional lime and mint for garnish |
Directions: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, remove from the heat and add the tea leaves. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool 15-20 minutes. Add the simple syrup, lime juice, orange juice and blueberries to a cocktail shaker. Smash the berries with a muddler until they become juicy. Add 8 oz. of the brewed tea to the shaker along with a few cubes of ice and shake well. Strain into a 12 oz. margarita glass rimmed with salt. Garnish with a lime slice and sprig of mint. Enjoy! |
Smoky Mountains Blackberry Basil Smash

Makes One Mocktail 8 oz. water 1/2 tbsp Great Smoky Mountains National Park Tea 1/2 oz. lemon juice 1 oz. simple syrup 8-10 blackberries, fresh or frozen 6 basil leaves 4 drops orange bitters (optional) 1 can club soda, chilled Additional orange wedges and fresh basil for garnish |
Directions: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, remove from the heat and add the tea. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool 15-20 mins. Add the lemon juice, simple syrup, blackberries, basil leaves and bitters to a cocktail shaker. Smash with a muddler until the blackberries become juicy. Add the tea and ice to the shaker and shake well. Strain into a 12 oz. glass filled with ice. Add club soda to the top and garnish with orange wedges and fresh basil. |
Iced Raspberry Tea Soda

Makes Two Mocktails 16 oz water 1 tbsp Raspberry Black Tea 1 oz lemon juice 2 oz simple syrup 1/2 cup fresh raspberries 1 can club soda, chilled Additional raspberries, lemon wedges and fresh mint for garnish |
Directions: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, remove from the heat and add the tea leaves. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain out the tea and set aside to cool 15-20 minutes. Add the raspberries, lemon juice and simple syrup to a medium sized bowl. Mix well with a large spoon until the raspberries become juicy. Stir in the tea then strain into two 12 oz. glasses filled with ice. Add the club soda to the top of the glasses and garnish with raspberries, lemon wedges and fresh mint. Enjoy! |
