A wonderful blend of green rooibos with cacao and cinnamon and flavored with Bavarian chocolate, cinnamon and hazelnuts. When we sampled this in our store we heard "Best rooibos ever!", "A new favorite", "Great everyday tea". It brews to a golden cup with the delicious aroma and taste of cinnamon baked goodies (we were reminded of apple fritters). Smooth and warming, this blend has the more pronounced taste of cinnamon and hazelnuts, while the Bavarian chocolate is an underlying taste that rounds out the other flavors. Delicious in every season!

Ingredients: Organic green rooibos, organic cacao nibs, organic cinnamon pieces, winter wonderland flavoring, and blue cornflower petals.

This flavoring does not contain any allergens.

Brew tea at 212º - steep for 5 minutes.

Winter Wonderland Tea Latte from Down to Earth Coffeehouse, Glastonbury, CT

4 oz. Winter Wonderland Concentrate
Moulin Vanilla Syrup (to taste)
7 oz. Steamed milk


Winter Wonderland Streusel Coffeecake
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup canola oil
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp Winter Wonderland, herbal tisane

Streusel Mixture:
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbsp butter, melted
4 Tbsp flour


Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8" square pan.

In a small saucepan heat the milk and the Winter Wonderland until hot (but not boiling). Cover, remove from heat and steep for 5 minutes. Strain out the herbal blend and set aside to cool.

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix the canola oil into the flour and sugar mixture until it is like cornmeal in texture.

In another bowl, combine the egg, tea infused milk and vanilla extract.

Add to the flour mixture and stir only enough to mix, do not over blend.

In a small bowl combine the streusel ingredients.

Pour 1/2 of the mixture into the baking pan and sprinkle ½ of the streusel mix over the batter. Add the remaining batter on top, and sprinkle with the other 1/2 of the streusel mix.

Bake for 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean.

one of my most favorite S&V teas

Every year as the temperature drops in fall, my tea drinking increases from iced teas to hot teas and Winter Wonderland is one I drink on a daily basis.
It is a remarkably flavored tea, a perfect blend. All the flavors compliment each other but don't overpower and work beautifully with the more delicate green rooibos tea.
Subtle hints of chocolate, cinnamon, even vanilla and a bit of nuttiness make this tea an outstanding dessert, Holiday, flavored tea, a caffeine-free treat anytime of day and evening.
It is really a very delicious tea, unique to S&V's creative blends.

Spiced Cocoa!

This smells great right out of the bag. I get sort of a spiced cake vibe with cocoa dust. Steeped, the chocolate comes out a bit more and it smells of spiced hot cocoa. With a spoon of sugar and a splash of milk or cream, o-m-g. So comforting a warm for a chilly winter evening.

Good for morning and mid-day

This Winter Wonderland Rooibos, with Its cocoa and cinnamon flavoring is great with a spoon of sugar. Great for morning and mid day. I am a dessert tea and chocolate lover, searching for the best chocolate tea out there. I rate them from 0 to 10. This one I rate an 8.5, a bit short on chocolate for me.
