Simpson & Vail is excited to announce the launch of this new nature themed tea gift box!  This gift box honors those intrepid hikers who venture off to complete the Triple Crown: the Appalachian Trail, the Continental Divide Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail.  

Each kraft package contains approx. ¾ of an ounce of loose-leaf teas and is adorned with a beautiful label that invokes the adventure of hiking.  These are perfect for brewing at home while reading journals of hiking adventures and plotting your next trip.  They make a great gift for hiking enthusiasts and the packages are light and compact which makes them perfect for taking on your next hike.

The Continental Divide tea is an Earl Grey variation with a tantalizing, heady aroma and a smooth, creamy flavor that lingers on the taste buds.

The Pacific Crest tea is a hearty, well-rounded blend of China and Indian teas that has an amber cup with a light currant after-taste.

This gift box joins our National Park themed tea line that was introduced in 2020 and features 10 teas based on National Parks including Acadia, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Great Smoky Mountains, Joshua Tree, Rocky Mountains, Shenandoah, Yellowstone, Yosemite and Zion.  

Our company was started in the early 1900’s and, through a couple of owners, was purchased by Jim and Joan Harron in the late 1970’s.  Today Joan and Jim’s eldest son, Jim, and daughter, Cyndi, are running the company.  Jim is a trail runner who can often be found running for fun on the Appalachian trail here in Connecticut.
